Chichester Counselling service is an independent, registered charity whose purpose is to provide affordable counselling for adults aged 18+.
They can help with a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, loss, life-stage and relationship difficulties. They offer one-to-one weekly counselling (currently by telephone or online, because of COVID-19, but please check their website for changes). They have a basic fee structure, but this is negotiable if you are suffering financial hardship.
Chichester Counselling is an organisational member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (national regulatory body for counsellors and psychotherapists). They are committed to the BACP's Ethical Framework and value everyone equally, regardless of their socio-economic status, cultural heritage, religious or sexual orientation.
Chichester information shop
The Chichester Information Shop, based in the Boys Club in Little London, offers a free and confidential information and support service for 13 to 25 year olds. This is open weekday afternoons and offers emotional support in a safe and confidential environment on any issues that concern young people.
