The Weight Loss Workshop, led by our nutritionist, is a 12 week programme for adults. The programme focuses on healthy eating, nutrition and education about food to help people lose weight and keep it off in the long term.
These workshops cover a wide variety of topics from challenging the myths about diets, blood sugar balance, snacks and treats, exercise and how stress and lack of sleep may affect appetite and food cravings. Sue also provides healthy breakfast and snack ideas.
Wendy attended the Weight Loss Workshops at The Westgate Leisure Centre and lost over a stone in 12 weeks.
Wendy says "It is not pushing any products. You're speaking to someone with solid nutritional background and the groups are smaller, so you have that personal contact. It is about being focused on what we should eat to make ourselves healthy, not just how to lose weight."
To join the Weight Loss Workshops you need to be above a healthy weight (with a BMI of 25 to 40). You can calculate your BMI by clicking here.

We have a new course called Move it and Lose it the 12 week course will be 45 minute nutrition talk followed by a 45 minute exercise class.
It is set up and run by a fully trained nutritional therapist and highly qualified (and friendly) gym instructor.
Both workshops include a private weekly weigh-in and group discussion, costing £30 for the whole course.
