Weight loss workshops
Weigh Better Life (WBL)
Would you like to lose weight? Are you overweight? Do you often feel tired and sluggish? Would you like to have more energy?
The Weigh Better Life course, led by our registered nutritionist, is a 12 week programme for adults. The programme focuses on healthy eating, nutrition and exercise to help people lose weight and keep it off in the long term.
These workshops cover a wide variety of topics from challenging the myths about diets, blood sugar balance, snacks and treats, exercise and how stress and lack of sleep may affect appetite and food cravings.
To join the Weigh Better Life course you need to have a Body Mass Index (BMI) between 25 to 40. To find out your BMI, take a look at the BMI calculator on the NHS website.
Classes are currently virtual and run over 12 weeks, with a nutrition talk followed by a 30 minute exercise video. This course is to help you get back to feeling healthy and introducing physical activity (all levels) whilst having fun.
Booking and more information
Booking is essential and you can only join in the first 4 weeks of the course starting. If you would like any more information or to join one of the workshops please email Chichester Wellbeing or call us on 01243 521041.

Wendy attended the Weight Loss Workshop (now Weigh Better Life) at Westgate Leisure Centre and lost over a stone in 12 weeks.
Wendy says "It is not pushing any products. You're speaking to someone with solid nutritional background and the groups are smaller, so you have that personal contact. It is about being focused on what we should eat to make ourselves healthy, not just how to lose weight."
