What is a Men's Shed
There is now a new way for men to pursue their interests, develop new ones, belong to a unique group,feel useful, fulfilled and have a sense of belonging. A Shed’s activities usually involve making or mending in wood (e.g. carpentry, joinery, turning, carving, whittling, marquetry, furniture renovation) but may include metalworking (milling, sheet metal, welding, etc.) bike repair, gardening, electronics, tool renovation, boat renovation, model engineering (model railways, planes) and even building a car!
Welcome to Men’s Shed Petworth
We meet once a week in our large accessible shed and provide a chance for local men to be able to meet together and make rural crafts such as birdshouses, bug houses, bat boxes and other items.
