First steps to fitness

First Steps to Fitness is a scheme to help people who are inactive to take their first steps to fitness!

  • Do you ever feel tired, sluggish or lack motivation?
  • Do you want to do more exercise but just don’t know where to start or what to do?
  • Do you do less than 2½ hours of physical activity per week?


If the answers are yes we have a scheme that will support you to become more active. With the help of the First Steps to Fitness Consultant you can achieve goals you never thought possible.

The scheme offers a free consultation with a qualified personal trainer and 12 weeks support to help you get started.

We will help you find activity local to you and can offer 4 weeks free access to all facilities at Westgate Leisure Chichester, Bourne and The Grange, Midhurst.


A sports membership after successfully completing your initial 4 weeks allowing you discounted leisure centre rates for one year.


A free gym induction worth £19.90 if you would like to use that facility.
